Home Visitor numbers at an all-time high 19 April 2012, Jakarta - TThe first time collaboration between Messe Duesseldorf Asia and local partner PT. Wahana Kemalaniaga Makmur (WAKENI) has led to the successful completion of INDOPRINT, INDOPACK and INDOPLAS 2012 last Saturday, 14 April in Jakarta (JI Expo Kemayoran). Having attracted more than 17,000 high-quality trade visitors from some 30 countries, the joint organizers are extremely pleased with the turnout. "Compared to the previous years we see a significant increase in visitorship demonstrating the importance of INDOPRINT, INDOPACK and INDOPLAS for the local market," commented Rini Sumardi, Director of WAKENI. "Our partnership with Messe Duesseldorf Asia was the right decision in order to bring the exhibitions to a new level and we look forward to strengthening our cooperation in future," she added. According to figures gathered, visitors came mainly from Indonesia followed by regional visitors mainly from Southeast Asia and other parts of Asia. Full details on the visitor statistics are expected to be released in the post show report next month. At the three exhibitions, some 249 exhibitors from 19 countries shared their latest product developments, applications and solutions for the printing, packaging and plastics industries. Reflecting the internationality of the exhibitions and augmenting this year's theme of 'going global' the exhibitions saw several countries participating for the first time, including Japan, Turkey, USA and Italy. National groups and pavilions from Austria, Germany, Singapore and Taiwan further raised the international standard of INDOPRINT, INDOPACK and INDOPLAS 2012.
